I Know the way to "direct to" fonctinality, but it could be much more convenient (and quicker) having a dedicated button on screen.
Pushing "direct to" button should open a nearest airfield scroll list as it is through the main menu. Selecting an airfield creates a "direct to" route.
Ones again, just add a button on screen instead of going through main menu.

Bingo, you are right, It's an hiden shortcut.
I have to read Closely user manual to avoid stupid question.
